Product Description
The motor, serving as the power source, converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, providing the initial动力 for the entire mixing system. Fixed TMR equipment typically uses a three-phase induction motor (with power ranging from several kilowatts to tens of kilowatts depending on the equipment specifications). This type of motor is characterized by its stable rotational speed and controllable output power, making it well-suited to the electricity supply conditions in fixed farm settings—eliminating the need for mobile engines.

Speed Reduction and Torque Increase (Gear Reducer)
The motor delivers a relatively high output speed—typically around 1,450 RPM—but produces only modest torque, making it unsuitable for directly driving agitator components like augers. Augers, on the other hand, require low-speed, high-torque operation, usually ranging from 10 to 30 RPM. To address this, a gearbox uses an internal gear system to convert the motor’s high-speed, low-torque output into a lower-speed, higher-torque force, ensuring the auger can effectively overcome the resistance posed by heavy materials such as straw, silage, and concentrated feed. This allows for stable mixing, cutting, and blending operations.
Precise speed control, tailored to material properties
By pairing with a variable-frequency motor or a speed-regulating gearbox, the output speed can be adjusted according to the material type—such as coarse fibrous straw or fine, soft silage.
When handling hard, bulky materials, reduce the rotational speed to increase torque and prevent jamming.
When handling lightweight, easily mixed materials, increase the rotational speed to enhance mixing efficiency.
Precise control of the rotational speed directly affects the uniformity of feed particle size and the mixing efficiency.
Protecting System Security
Gear reducers are typically equipped with overload protection devices (such as torque limiters or friction clutches), which allow the system to slip or cut off power when the auger gets stuck by foreign objects or experiences material overload. This prevents motor burnout, auger deformation, or blade breakage, ensuring the safety of the entire mixing system.
