Function

Supporting the weight of the entire vehicle
The axle is connected to the vehicle frame via the suspension system, directly bearing the self-weight of the mixer truck—including components like the body, mixing drum, and gearbox—as well as the weight of the material inside the mixing chamber. This ensures that the vehicle’s total weight is evenly distributed across the wheels, preventing localized overloading that could lead to tire wear or structural deformation. Particularly during full-load mixing operations, the axle must withstand vertical loads of several tons, making it a critical component for maintaining the equipment’s overall stability.

Transmitting driving torque
For traction-type TMR vehicles equipped with a drive axle—such as four-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive models—the axle integrates a reduction gear and a differential internally. This setup allows the engine's power to be efficiently transmitted to the wheels via the driveshaft, enabling the vehicle to move smoothly or even extricate itself from challenging terrains like muddy ranch roads, thereby ensuring the equipment maintains reliable mobility across various operating conditions.
