Product Description
Function
Power Compatibility: Convert the high-speed, low-torque power output from the engine or motor into the low-speed, high-torque power required by the mixing device, ensuring the mixing blades can effectively cut, crush, and blend the materials as needed.
Speed reduction, torque increase: By utilizing the meshing transmission of an internal gear set, the input speed is significantly reduced while simultaneously amplifying torque according to a fixed transmission ratio (Torque = Power / Speed × Constant), ensuring the equipment can effectively overcome the resistance of high-fiber feeds such as straw and silage, thus achieving uniform mixing.
Transmission Reversal: Some front-mounted reducers are designed with a reversing function, allowing the direction of power transmission to be changed. This ensures that the rotation direction of the agitator shaft aligns perfectly with the direction of power input, optimizing the overall equipment layout.
Overload protection: Gear reducers typically incorporate overload protection mechanisms—such as friction plates or shear pins—that engage when foreign objects become lodged in the mixing chamber or when the load suddenly spikes. By slipping or breaking, these mechanisms instantly cut off power transmission, preventing damage to the motor, engine, and mixing components caused by excessive overloading.
